For those of you that don't know the VA is very thorough on what they approve because they want a buyer to have a safe and sound home. Well, we hired Nick to perform our inspection before the VA came to look at the home. He showed up on time (not to mention the appointment was short notice for him) and he spent hours inspecting our home. Afterwards we received a 40+ page report of everything he thought was of concern with the home. We based our negotiations off of his report and got fixed what we thought the VA we be concerned about. Our VA appraisal/inspection came back with absolutely nothing wrong (not heard of according to our lender).
